iPhone SDK coming in February

Apple officially announced yesterday that third party apps will be coming to the iPhone. They'll be releasing a Sofware Developer's Kit in February, citing the difficulties that come with creating an open platform while keeping malware and viruses out as the primary reason for the wait.
